A Pan Africanist

Bede Ihentuge Duruoha Ekeh was born on the 22nd of January 1972 at Owerri, Imo state of Nigeria. His parents originate from Ubomiri, Mbaitoli Local Government Area LGA, in Imo state. He passed through primary education at St. Mary’s Primary School, Ubomiri, his hometown. His secondary education took place at St. Peter Claver seminary, Okpala, Imo state in 1988. Mr. Ekeh graduated as a computer science student from the University of Nigeria Nsukka UNN by 1995.

His professional qualifications cut across software and hardware courses, from Microsoft and Compaq by the year 2000. He also went through Lagos Business School of the Pan African University, Lagos, in 2001.

 His postgraduate degree was at Napier University, Edinburgh, UK,  as a Certified Business Administrator in 2004.

He studied enterprise skills in Dublin in 2006 and Innovation Skills at Technology University Dublin TUD in 2017. He  also got certified as a Cloud Practitioner by 2021 and Certified Scrum Master in 2022. Mr. Ekeh graduated from the prestigious University College Dublin in 2023, obtaining a Master of Arts MA on Geo-Politics and the Global Economy.

Politically, since the beginning of the 21st century in 2001, Mr. Ekeh has been occupied with the knowledge of politics and has derived expertise draw from knowledge through party politics at PDP as Diaspora Coordinator of the PDP Youth Vanguard in year 2011. He set up a political movement with the youths to educate on voter education and to campaign for President GoodLuck Jonathan in 2015.

Socially, He set up an NGO LogOn Global Foundation in 2010 and engaged women and youth at Abuja on mass education on Ethics and Codes of conduct. Mr. Ekeh formed a cooperative Union at Lugbe in Abuja in 2016 where he was able to create the iCODE Matrix of 144 (one hundred and forty-four persons) who can become an organization or institution of government in that local community. This is the fulcrum of his iCODE concept. The organizing of the people and beginning from the immediate communities. The matrix is to replicate itself across the federation.

Economically, Mr. Ekeh has spent his first 50 years investing in people, knowledge, and experience. He took the  path of building intellectual properties and taking ownership of the responsibility of responding to the needs of his area of expertise in both science and technology, economics and other serious engagements on development factors.

In 2023, Mr. Ekeh had designed a methodology that can be used to administer governance in any nation. However, he designed it specially for any country that has multi-dimensional diversities of people who make up the country’s citizenry. His product, inclusive codes of development equation iCODE, is a methodology for the management of diversities and population. The design of his product can be found in his book titled ‘ The African Operating system ' A methodology for Digital Age Civilization.
